However, 2024 is all about pushing boundaries, embracing bold choices, and expressing your unique style. We have compiled the top streetwear fashion trends to look out for in 2024. They include;
1. Opiumcore: think goth meets luxe style with this fashion trend. Opiumcore is a mixture of dark and elegant tones, this is an unconventional fashion that defies all norms. This trend was influenced by the artiste, Playboi Carti who is known for his all-black leather attires and chunky boots, the name “Opiumcore” is said to be coined from Playboi Carti’s record label, Opium.
2. Corporate-core/YuppieCore: Might be for its nostalgic value but expect to see a lot of millennials and GenZ in corporate attire, for instance, the come-back of the vintage receptionist glasses that we have seen the fashion world accessorize with their outfits, as well as oversized or strong-shouldered blazers that dominated fashion week recently. Think A$AP Rocky channeling Wall Street with a dash of streetwear swagger.
3. Jorts: Jorts offer endless outfit possibilities. Rock a classic denim-on-denim look with an oversized blazer and chunky sneakers for an effortless vibe. Embrace the athleisure trend by pairing them with a sporty crop top and statement kicks.
